HOLZ - GERMANY -- 07 DECEMBER 2006 -- The ghost village of Holz. Holz has been emptied by compulsory expropriation. Around 7600 people from 13 villages still have to leave the area. 2400 inhabitants of 3 villages have already left the zone. -- From 2006 onwards, RWE Power will develop the Garzweiler II opencast mine as an extension of the Garzweiler I mine.
