FRANCE / SANGATTE 16, MARCH 2001--During the day the refugees gather strength for the next nightly attempt to cross the channel. -- The French Red Cross refurgee centre close to Calais, was founded in Septembre 1999 due to the growing amount of refugees in the central park of Calais, trying to cross the channel to Great Britain.
